The Elite Hotel is located in a quiet place, yet right in the heart of Prague's New Town. The Elite Hotel is surrounded by many sights and also sits in the heart of business and social life. Famous city attractions such as the Wenceslas and Old Town Squares and the Charles Bridge are within a few minutes' walk from the hotel doors. The National Theatre, Black Theatre and Opera are also within walking distance. The house of Elite has a long and rich history going back to late 14th century with a special and original place shrouded in myths and legends. A complete renovation of this architecturally remarkable building with a unique room arrangement was carried out between 1998 and 2000, providing highly comfortable rooms without marring the romantic charm of an ancient edifice.
Each of the 77 uniquely decorated rooms containing pieces of original antique furniture, are air-conditioned, and equipped with a private bathroom. Room service is also available. People traveling for business purposes will appreciate the large writing desk in many of the rooms. Elegant engraved pictures of the old city of Prague decorate the walls. The Elite Hotel's cozy atmosphere is aptly augmented by an onsite stylish grill club, "Ultramarin". The cocktail bar is graced with jazz performances and Latino music in the subterranean vaults. An open atrium houses a day-bar with a small garden, ideal for pleasant relaxation. Apart from the grill club and bar, the hotel offers a beauty parlor and a hairdresser's saloon. From Prague-Ruzyne Airport:
Exit airport following signs for Praha Centrum.
Enter city heading to Plzenska Street/Kartouzska Street.
Cross the river and turn left on Masarykovo Nabrezi Street.
Turn right onto Mylikova Street then left onto Spalena Street.
Turn right onto Lazarska Street then left onto Vladislavova.
Then turn left onto Purkynova Street and cross tram lines.
Remain on Purkynova Street which becomes Ostrovni Street.
Elite Hotel is located about 50 meters on the left hand side. |
